3A Composites, a division of Schweiter Technologies, has approximately 3’000 employees at various locations in Europe, the Americas and Asia. It is active in manufacturing and commercializing lightweight products for architecture, visual communication, transportation, industrial and wind energy markets. Leading brands such as ALUCOBOND®, DIBOND®, ALUCORE®, HYLITE®, FOREX®, GATOR®, KAPA®, FOAM-X®, FOME-COR®, AIREX® and BALTEK® were invented by 3A Composites.
3A Composites, formerly well-known as Alcan Composites, belongs to Schweiter Technologies since December 01st, 2009. Schweiter Technologies is headquartered in Horgen Switzerland.

3A Composites Display Europe

3A Composites Display Europe operates from headquarters in Germany and Switzerland and has maintained a long tradition of technical leadership and excellence in sheet materials for sign and display applications. In fact, 3A Composites has been responsible for originally developing most of the generic material types available. Our product range comprises leading brands including DIBOND® aluminum composite panels, KAPA®, GATORFOAM® , FOAM-X® lightweight foamboards and FOREX® rigid foam plastic sheets. This range includes a huge choice of variants and options for direct-to-substrate digital printing, fabrication, mounting and other applications in signs and display, graphic arts, POS / POP advertising and exhibitions.
We are able to serve our customers as a single-source supplier of sheet material for virtually any application. Thanks to a worldwide production and distribution network, our products are now available on short lead times in over 80 countries. This capability is based on co-operative partnerships with leading distributors in the paper, plastics and metal sectors. These distributors provide application support and other valuable customer services at local level. Singen, Germany
In 1969 the aluminium composite panels were invented in Singen. Since then Singen has become the world leader in producing aluminium composite material. Global brand names such as ALUCOBOND®, ALUCORE® and DIBOND® have become generic brands in the industry for various applications in the architecture, industry and visual communication market. DIBOND® is mainly used for sign making, exhibition stand construction, shop fronts, interior design as well as for displays at the POS/POP and as a substrate for direct digital printing and photo mounting.

Osnabrück, Germany
For 40 years now, the Osnabrück Site produces lightweight foam boards with a polyurethane foam core, these products being well-known and registered as KAPA®. KAPA® is particularly used for display applications, i.e. for high quality interior signage, direct-to-substrate digital printing, fill-in panels and for interior decoration – however there are various applications in the automotive and industry market for KAPA® as well. Innovation and creativity combined with unique production technologies are our drivers and factors for success. At the same time we define the development of our technical know-how and the enlargement of our range with new and innovative products and solutions as our first priority and mission.

Sins, Switzerland
Founded on December 6th, 1959, Airex AG pioneered in developing a new manufacturing process of closed-cell foams, the continuous extrusion of lightweight foamed polymer sheets as well as the production of specialty foams. As such, Airex AG established the leading brands FOREX®classic, FOREX®print, FOREX®color, FOREX®smart and AIREX® for core markets visual communication and sandwich construction. Especially for the Display Europe business, Airex AG supplies FOREX®classic, FOREX®print, FOREX®color and FOREX®smart for displays, advertising signs, exhibition stand construction, furniture design.
