The history of Tipro goes back to 1985, when a group of researches established the first private company in Slovenia. Since then Tipro has been creating intelligent interface solutions, which understand consumer's desires and enhance their efficiency. Product range includes different versions of custom, programmable and industrial keyboards and touchscreens with optional equipment such as magnetic card readers, smart card readers, user identification, LCD etc. The new all in one system is called BeFREE – touchscreen with integrated PC. Tipro has applications in POS, hospitality, cash register and scale industry, point-of-information, banking, financial and other segments.
