Commerce announces the public release of its new SOCIAL BUY NOW platform, the first solution to seamlessly connect brands' online stores with Buy Now buttons in social environments.

For the first time, brands can link their online stores to Commerce-powered BUY NOW buttons in social posts to sell products directly to customers without needing to switch eCommerce or payment gateway providers.

Commerce has built the largest partner ecosystem in the global marketplace - connecting over 250,000+ available merchants, 8 of the leading eCommerce platforms, 90+ leading payment gateways - with top sales channels to enable end-to-end Social Buy Now solutions.

"Empowering brands to sell products directly from their online stores in social posts is the future of retail," said Commerce founderJohn Wantz. "We're excited to be leading the transformation from desktop selling to true Omni-Channel sales through social, mobile & marketplaces."

The Commerce "BUY NOW" ecosystem partners include:

  • Sales Channels: Twitter, Amazon & Facebook
  • Payment Partners: Stripe, Authorize.Net, Braintree, PayPal, TSYS, Capital One, First Data, Chase Paymentech.
  • E-Commerce Partners: Shopify, Magento, Demandware, Oracle Commerce, IBM WebSphere , SAP (Hybris), Bigcommerce, WooCommerce.
  • Merchants: Best Buy, Obey Clothing & 1000+ partners

This ecosystem is integrated through a family of Commerce APIs designed for developers. Retailers can start making money today by allowing consumers to buy products directly from their branded mobile environments by participating in BUY NOW channels across any device and application. "For the consumer, the BUY NOW experience is a simple click within a social post," said Wantz. "The heavy lifting is orchestrated behind the scenes for the merchant, and the APIs are very simple to deploy."
