Fossil Group selects mobile Point of Sale solution

Fossil Group, Inc. has selected the Aptos retail solutions Point of Sale (POS) application. Initial deployment plans call for outfitting 500+ store locations across its global retail footprint with Aptos POS solution.

Fossil Group, Inc. is a global design, marketing and distribution company. The company’s principal offerings include an extensive line of men’s and women’s fashion watches and jewelry sold under a diverse portfolio of proprietary and licensed brands, handbags, small leather goods and accessories. The company’s products are sold to department stores, specialty retail stores and specialty watch and jewelry stores in the U.S. and in approximately 150 countries worldwide through approximately 26 company-owned foreign sales subsidiaries and a network of approximately 75 independent distributors. The company also distributes its products in over 600 company-owned and operated retail stores, and through its eCommerce websites.

Fossil Group will implement Aptos newest version of its Aptos Mobile Store Point of Sale solution, leveraging the integrated Verifone FIPay payment security solution. The integrated solution simplifies and secures electronic payment acceptance at the point-of-purchase, and will enable Fossil Groups various retail locations to accommodate new and emerging methods of payment, and comply with security best practices.

Fully mobile-enabled for easy deployment and use on Apple iPad, iPod and Windows mobile devices, Aptos Mobile Store will help Fossil Group deliver a consistent, optimum customer experience by providing product, inventory, and pricing information shoppers need to support decision-making, and support to process transactions efficiently and on their terms.
