Carrier Commercial Refrigeration Opens New Cabinet Assembly Facility in Russia
Carrier Refrigeration Rus recently launched production of Carrier's newest Evolution 6 refrigerated display cabinets at its new facility in Leshkovo, Russia.
The Leshkovo plant will produce Carrier's latest range of refrigerated multideck cabinets, including the Mendos® and MenEco® lines, helping to strengthen Carrier's position and presence by reducing logistics and production costs and decreasing lead time for the growing Russian segment. All Carrier Commercial Refrigeration employees in Russia will be located at the plant to help drive synergies and operational efficiency.
"I feel extremely privileged to witness the beginning of a new era for Carrier Commercial Refrigeration in Russia," said Svilen Petkov, managing director, Carrier Refrigeration Rus. "Five years ago, we started our business here with only 15 employees, but today, as we start the production of Carrier's latest product line of refrigerated cabinets, we have more than 60 employees. We continue to drive the transformation of the Russian food retail industry to help it become more modern, efficient and environmentally sustainable."
