Every component of the Digipos A300 has been designed to create an elegant appearance, right from the flat screen to the integrated cable management cover through to the wide range of options such as MSR, iButton and customer displays.

The integrated cable cover not only hides unsightly cables but also forms an integral part of the overall A300 chasis so as not to detract from the smooth lines of the system.

Noise free, fanless design

Using the low energy Intel Atom D2550 Dual Core processor means we can eliminate the need for a fan and the noise it generates. The fanless design is enabled by the overall aluminium casing of the A300, which acts as a giant heatsink. The removal of the fan contributes to a higher overall reliability as the fan can sometimes be a point of mechanical failure.

Superior multi-touch screen

The integrated, flat bezel free, 15” multi-touch LCD screen uses LED backlighting to deliver a great user experience for POS application in retail and hospitality. Boasting a resolution of 1024 x768 pixels and a responsive multitouch P-CAP interface makes the A300 a delight to use for transactions and browsing. It is also highly water and dust resistant with a very high IP66 rating.

Design for serviceability

The hard disk drive within any POS system can sometimes be a point of mechanical failure so easy access is important. Within the A300, the hard disk drive is easy to access as it is located under the removable cable cover, making replacement quick and simple. The very compact external PSU is also easy to replace and eliminates the need to disassemble the whole unit to replace it. These features help to lower the cost of ownership over the life of this system.

Extensive range of peripherals

A wide range of peripherals have been designed to integrate with the Digipos A300 to maintain its sleek and elegant appearance. A choice of peripherals such as MSR, iButton, 2 line customer display and 10.4” colour customer screen. These optional peripherals give the Digipos A300 the flexibility to be configured to serve the needs of a wide variety of demanding retail and hospitality applications.
