HeiTel Selects AMG-Panogenics for Technology Integration

5 Megapixel PanoCam360 fully integrated with HeiTel VideoGateways

AMG-Panogenics, the British manufacturer of sophisticated 5 Megapixel cameras and the Germany based CCTV manufacturer HeiTel Digital Video GmbH, part of Xtralis Pty. Ltd., are pleased to announce the complete integration of the HeiTel VideoGateway series of professional digital video transmission and recording systems with the 5 Megapixel PanoCam360. This integration will allow users of both AMG-Panogenics and HeiTel products to create security solutions for professional video surveillance and alarm management.

”We see a big potential in the integration of the 5 Megapixel PanoCam360 with our VideoGateways series. The flexibility provided by the 360° functionality makes this AMG-Panogenics camera the first choice for a wide range of applications” says HeiTel’s head of Product Management, Axel Hinz.

David Myers CTO of AMG-Panogenics comments, “AMG-Panogenics specialises in intelligent imaging solutions and we develop cutting-edge hardware and software technologies for the global security industry. The AMG-Panogenics brand thus stands for advanced, high quality IP Video technology. PanoCam360 streams 12.5 frames per second and the on-board de-warping reduces the processing requirement back in the control room. Offering up to 14 de-warped video streams/independent camera views simultaneously alongside the full-resolution fish-eye view, makes PanoCam360 the most powerful and versatile 360 degree camera range available. It provides complete situational awareness from a single camera. To the best of our knowledge, there is no other 360 degree camera available in the market offering such a high number of simultaneous streams from the camera combined with a 12.5fps frame rate.  Having the camera fully integrated with HeiTel’s products opens up a range of applications which will benefit from this innovative technology.”

HeiTel software and hardware products are designed for the transmission and recording of digital video data. User-friendly conception, high reliability and flexibility are their trademarks. HeiTels core competence, digital video transmission and recording is reflected in the hardware VideoGateway series with the product families CamServer, CamTel, CamDisc, Cam4mobile and CamDisc HNVR. While all of them are hybrid DVRs, the CamDisc HNVR is especially designed for the use with Megapixel IP cameras.

HeiTel further offers a range of software solutions from single user software (CamControl LITE/PRO) for easy remote control, configuration and transmission up to sophisticated CMS solutions either as autonomous video alarm management EMS (Event Management System) or as integrative solution in combination with third party alarm management products.
