TCPOS meets customers at BORUSSIA-PARK

Looking back on successful get-together at football stadium

TCPOS, provider of IT solutions for retail and hospitality, hosted a get-together with customers from retail and catering at the BORUSSIA-PARK in Mönchengladbach in early August.

Even though the team from Mönchengladbach was defeated in the friendly match against Athletic Bilbao, it was an all-around good time for TCPOS and its guests.

Since 2004 hospitality solutions from TCPOS  in combination with hardware from Wincor Nixdorf are in use at BORUSSIA-PARK. It was therefore no coincidence that TCPOS invited its customers into this exciting environment, to watch the game from Borussia Mönchengladbach against Athletic Bilbao and to exchange views on technical topics. Customers from retail and catering were pleased about the chance to discuss with the POS-providers experts about future-oriented IT subjects in an informal setting.

TCPOS had chosen the motto “developments” for its get-together and asked the attendants about their expectations for innovations of TCPOS IT solutions. Besides topics such as mobility and omni-chance for which TCPOS is offering mobile solutions on smartphones and tablet-PCs as well as web-modules already, the issue of  cashless payment rated highly on the agenda. Retailers as well as caterers deal with the potential of cashless payment and are questioning which way of payment will become generally accepted in future. In additions, they want to be prepared for payment via smartphone.

„Our customer event in the inspiring atmosphere of the BORUSSIA-PARK offered our regional customers an easy way to share their ideas on important technological trends”, says Dirk Schwindling, CEO of TCPOS Germany. “Our customers were highly satisfied with the event. They appreciated to watch an active game live at the stadium and at the same time conduct informative discussions beyond their day-to-day business activities. Moreover, the get-together of retailers and caterers was extremely positive because both parties benefited from exchanging interesting insights.”
