Eloma and Palux/Salvis are going separate ways in the future

Palux and Salvis combi-steamers and Baking Ovens will not be developed and manufactured by Eloma anymore.

Eloma, one of the top manufacturers of innovative cooking and baking technology in Europe, was founded in 1975. One of the very first customers of this young company was Palux AG. Even back then Eloma manufactured convection ovens and rotisseries for Palux. In 1982 Eloma developed the first “Eloma convection-steamers” and launched them in the market –units were also manufactured for Palux.

During this time Eloma achieved the reputation of a first-class manufacturer of technically perfected cooking and baking equipment with retailers, kitchen-planners, chefs, butchers and bakers.

This historic and long-term collaboration of an OEM partnership ended on January 31st 2011. Palux AG will take over the development and production of combi-steamers for the brands Palux and Salvis in the future.

Eloma’s Managing Director, Stephan Wendler says: „We thank Palux for the long-term, successful collaboration. Palux AG will take over the future development and production of combi-steamers and baking ovens themselves. The result of this is, that in the future combi-steamers and baking ovens with the brand name Palux and Salvis will not be manufactured by Eloma any more”.

In market strategies, according to Wendler, nothing will change for Eloma. “We will continue the unaltered strategy as a specialist for combi-steamers and Bake-off ovens Made in Germany, which can only be sold through specialized retailers.”

Training and support of end-users, key-accounts and specialized retailers with practical seminars for cooking and baking is Elomas’ top priority. At present a lot is also being invested in our technical service department, as well as the Eloma Service Partner Network. “It is our goal to strengthen our service partners with support, trainings and service tools, in order to give the end-users the best possible technical support.
With our service partners and the availability of spare parts for almost all machines Eloma has manufactured in Bavaria and Saxony during the last 25 years, we’re well prepared”
says the Managing Director of this Bavarian company in Maisach.
