CamControl-WM Video Alarm Management Software
From Mobile To Central Monitoring Stations
The new software from HeiTel, “CamControl-WM” (Windows Mobile) completes the HeiTel software portfolio with a power tool for all Windows Mobile (Releases 5 and 6) based Smartphones and PDAs. With CamControl-WM both live and recorded images can be viewed with a high frame rate (up to 10 fps given a high speed connection such as HSDPA). Moveable cameras (PTZ’s) can be easily controlled with the stylus and relays remotely operated. The HeiTel-owned and designed video compression procedure ensures pleasantly high frame rates, even with small bandwidths. All mobile radio standards such as GPRS, EDGE, UMTS, HSDPA, CDMA as well as WLAN can be used for transmission.
From mobile access to live and recorded video footage with CamControl-WM or to easy to use video viewing and transmitter administration from a single PC with CamControl LITE and PRO through to the multi operator, server/client based software EMS (Event Management System): HeiTel provides a software solution for all scenarios of professional video alarm management. EMS was developed specifically with emergency call centres and alarm/video receiving centres in mind.
EMS fulfils the demanding requirements for alarm video management in monitoring centres, like the simultaneous handling of several video connections, the simultaneous multi-user operation and intuitive operation, despite extensive functionality for the handling, logging, evaluation and administration of video alarms. Optionally, “Site Map”, a tool for the production and display of interactive site plans, is available and “TAPI”, an interface for computer telephony integration.
User error is reduced to a minimum by the intuitively and clearly organised user interface. This is of crucial importance, since usually the operator has to handle multiple different systems.
