BTP-2002NP Thermal POS Printer

BTP-2002NP Thermal POS Printer
BTP-2002NP Thermal POS Printer
Low cost alternative.
BTP-2002NP is a low cost point-of-sale (POS) printer, which is compatible with the market leaders. Very often other printers can be replaced by this printer with minimum or no additional installation efforts. The printer can be set by means of key-strokes or by means of software utilities. The method of key-strokes gives ease of installation, especially in remote areas and the use of the software utilities give functionalities that surpass those of the competitors.

Reliability by rugged design.
The printer uses a “thick-film” thermal print head; this type is known for its durability and long life. Moreover the print head and the printer are produced by our factory, optimizing the quality of the design. Another proof of the rugged design is the fact that the printer basically consists of a metal frame, which is exposed after the plastic house is removed. The metal frame is a fully functional printer, which is very suitable for integration into kiosks.

Modularity and flexibility.
BTP-2002NP offers a wide variety of interfaces. The range includes amongst others a PoweredUSB and WLAN solution. The same interfaces are also used for other of our printers, like the BTP-M270 impact POS printer. The interfaces are also made in the form of “daughter boards”, which makes replacing and exchanging by resellers and users simple and quick.
The modularity and flexibility of the interfaces offer to the reseller a cost saving in the form of less stock-items.

Serving many applications.
Besides using the metal frame of the printer as a built-in printer for kiosk applications, the printer can also be used for other applications. These include amongst others gaming (82.5 mm paper width), point-of-sale, ticketing and hospitality. Especially for hospitality applications there are a number of accessories, which make the printer suitable for use in kitchens and bars. The range of accessories includes a spill-proof-cover, a wall-mount-system and an alarm system called “HERALD”.
