The ergonomically designed DT-X7 mobile terminal boasts a powerful processor suitable for even the most demanding applications, 64 MB RAM and 64 MB F-ROM memory capacity and can be used in various mobile network environments. Integrated IrDA and Bluetooth® interface included as standard with this terminal. An internal IEEE802.11b wireless LAN module is also available as an option, enabling reliable direct connection with a server. This means you can work with real-time information - at a point of sale or in large warehouses. The DT-X7 runs under Microsoft Windows© CE© 5.0, permits integration in existing environments and offers a wide range of possibilities for wireless communication via Bluetooth® and wireless LAN.

High-speed scanner and imager for all current codes

The ability to scan reliably and quickly is a basic prerequisite for efficient operations. The high-performance laser scanner of the ultra-light DT-X7 hand-held scanner recognises all current 1D codes, for example EAN, UPC-A/E, NW-7 (CODABAR), CODE39, COD93, CODE128/EAN128, ITF, MSI, IATA and Industrial 2 of 5. A new model range with integrated CMOS imager is now available alongside the original version with a laser scanner. The mega speedy CMOS imager works perfectly with all complex codes such as DataMatrix, Maxicode and QR Code. Completed scans can be reported in any combination of LED, buzzer or vibration. Thanks to a series of symmetrically positioned scanning keys, the ergonomically designed DT-X7 allows both left-handed and right-handed people to operate it one-handed for hours at a time without tiring.

Power Management

The DT-X7 is powered via the power pack and the integrated Li-Ion battery (up to 1880 mAh depending on the model). An integrated back-up battery provides additional security for user data. The large Li-Ion battery powers the radio terminal for a full 17 hours ** with a WLAN connection. These outstanding figures are achieved by using energy-saving components in conjunction with sophisticated power management functions, which also help to reduce energy consumption and operating costs in everyday use.

Intelligent design and simple operation

The DT-X7 paves the way to easing workloads and boosting efficiency. The ergonomic S-shaped design ensures convenient operation, and weighing in at just 145 grams the DT-X7 is also lightweight and manageable. Its scanner keys are ergonomically arranged and the function keys are intelligently constructed using colour designations and distances.
The DT-X7 is also extremely stable and tough. Its casing is made from hard-wearing plastic, offering excellent protection against knocks and dropping. The mobile data collection device is thus perfectly suited for a tough working environment. Thanks to its highly reliable data storage, the DT-X7 also minimizes errors. Users in the fields of retailing, transportation and logistics in particular greatly appreciate its design.

Bluetooth® included

Bluetooth® offers innumerable possibilities for integrating modern data transfer standards in powerful industrial applications. From synchronization between DT-X7 and PC or the use of a Bluetooth® modem as access point to the global telephone network, through to completely mobile communication via GPRS networks: The integrated Bluetooth® interface makes a wide range of communication solutions possible.

QVGA display with up to 65,536 colours

No matter whether digital camera, PDA or industry-standard Pocket PC: The original CASIO LCD technology is renowned for its excellent quality. The transflective LC display with 240 x 320 pixels and background illumination delivers an absolutely clear image with sharp contrasts and thus optimal readability across a wide working range. In sunlight or darkness - with this screen, which takes up 30% of the total length of the device, the DT-X7 is perfectly deployable even in the most unfavourable conditions.

Drop and splash proof to IP54

CASIO hardware stands for absolute reliability and longevity. With its plastic-covered casing, the DT-X7 survives drops on concrete from 1 metre. It also meets protection class IP54 as per IEC60529 Standard for dust and splash protection. The DT-X7 works perfectly in temperatures of -10°C to 50°C. The imager version can be used until -20°C. The ideal qualities for long-term survival in tough working conditions.
