Hoeft & Wessel’s subsidiary Metric expands its U.S. operations
The Hoeft & Wessel subsidiary Metric, one of the largest global providers of car park ticket vending machines, expands its operations in the USA. In this process it will be moving to a larger facility in Mount Laurel, New Jersey, and will triple its floor space to 15,000 square feet. The size of the workforce will increase to 15 employees. With its new operations office, Metric meets the increasing requirements of its customers. Over the past year, Metric’s business in the U.S. has grown significantly. At the beginning of 2009 the parking division acquired a large-scale order from Philadelphia for more than 1,000 parking machines.
Metric Parking has been producing machines for the parking industry for over 30 years. It is headquartered in Swindon, west of London.
