hybris launches hybris Extend to give customers maximum business impact from its Commerce solutions

… new online marketplace provides customers with certified, pre-integrated solutions that accelerate their time-to-value with the hybris Commerce platform …

hybris, a leading provider of multichannel commerce and communication software, today announced the launch of hybris Extend – a new online marketplace giving customers instant access to best-of-breed and fully certified partner applications, value-add services and complementary business solutions all of which are optimized to work with the hybris Commerce platform.

The launch of this new portal-style application repository means customers can fine tune and optimize their hybris solution to increase revenue, enhance the customer experience, or instigate innovative multichannel commerce and communication initiatives without unnecessary risk or complexity. Currently, hybris Extend covers applications in areas such as analytics, channels, community and social, content, fulfillment, infrastructure, marketing and communications, payments and tax, personalization, and search and navigation.

Using the hybris Extend ‘app-style’ distribution portal customers can configure add on solutions that best suit their needs or vertical industry, and instantly discover all the additional features and functions hybris’ partners can bring to their business.

Commenting on the launch of hybris Extend, Ariel Luedi, CEO of hybris, said; “hybris Extend is an important development for our customers, partners and ourselves. It offers unique integration opportunities to customers, giving them direct access to pre-integrated partner solutions. hybris Extend adds value beyond our usual ISV partner program because it provides direct access to these recommended partner solutions. With all this information now available in one place, our customers can see the full scope of options available to them and are able to select additional applications best suited to their needs, gaining even more value from our hybris solutions. The new marketplace will also enable our partners to maximize the benefits of their relationship with hybris.”

Using hybris Extend, customers and system integrators can search from a list of recommended partners, all of whom are leading players in their markets. Selecting specific partners enables users to view details of integrations and applications or common integration experience, all of which helps customers and system integrators to reduce project costs, cut implementation times and enhance their hybris commerce solution with all the additional functionality they need.

“We’ve launched hybris Extend to meet the growing customer demand for globally accessible turnkey solutions that accelerate time-to-value with their hybris investment. Now customers can take the hybris platform and extend it, customizing it to their exact requirements,” says Patrick Ferdig, Director of Global ISV Partnerships at hybris.

The hybris Extend marketplace gives customers and system integrators the confidence of knowing they are accessing best-of-breed partner solutions that have undergone a rigorous certification process. In the coming months, the applications catalog available will be extended as hybris continues to expand its partnerships. Recent additions to the hybris ISV ecosystem include Bazaarvoice, dynaTrace and Jirafe.
