Promoting sales: digital signage at IFAT 2012

Whether it is used to attract potential customers or provide informational support in sales consultations, digital signage is a reliable trade fair communication instrument. This was indeed the case at IFAT ENTSORGA 2012 in Munich, where digital media developed by netvico GmbH was a real hit with visitors to the Tönsmeier Group's new-look booth.

The Tönsmeier Group is a waste management company that develops sustainable disposal and recycling concepts. At the world's leading trade fair for water, wastewater, waste and raw materials management, the company impressed visitors from around the world with its open and communicative approach. This included installing four specially-designed 46" touch-screen pillars, which were integrated in four conference tables at the booth.

The screens benefitted sales staff by allowing them to access and share specific information on the company's services and current projects in their consultations. The pillars' internet connection was also a bonus, enabling users to visit the Tönsmeier Group's completely revised homepage. The conclusion drawn by the seasoned specialist in recycling management? Successful business deals and a great many promising new contacts. A fine example of the many possibilities digital signage offers sales and communication activities at trade fairs.
