Enhanced customer experience
Source: Intel

Intel delivers considerable R&D and manufacturer and integrator support into the digital signage market place. Intel® processors deliver the performance needed for digital signage applications, including interactive capabilities, immersive visuals, and viewer analytics with Intel® Aim Suite technology to measure messaging effectiveness and ROI.

Solutions built using Intel architecture are enhancing the customer experience: running applications that engage consumers, provide interactive services, and deliver targeted and relevant messaging—with the added advantage of Intel®Aim Suite analytics to measure proof-of-play.

Intel empowers equipment manufacturers and OEM designers, streamlining the development and deployment of intelligent signage systems through products that are easy to use and deploy. For example, the latest Digital Signage Evaluation Kit (DSEK-12) from Intel is a next-generation solution that enables equipment manufacturers and OEM designers to streamline the development and deployment of intelligent signage systems.

The DSEK– 12 enables organisations to quickly develop and deploy content-rich digital signage that delivers increased graphics and computing performance along with upgraded manageability features and improved security.

Fast and efficient evaluation

Based on 3rd generation Intel® Core™ i5 or Intel® Core™ i7 processors, the DSEK-12 enables solution providers to concentrate on designing digital signage rather than investing in platform development. The kit also includes:

  • A Kontron OPS-compliant media player, KOPS800
  • The Microsoft Windows® Studio Embedded POSReady 7 OS
  • Pre-validated trial software for content development and management including digital signage demos, user editable templates, and Intel® Audience Impression Metrics Suite (Intel® AIM Suite) for targeted advertisements

In summary, the DSEK-12 is one of many products and services that enables integration and cost-efficient manageability without compromising on performance. Intel® processors deliver the performance needed for digital signage applications, including interactive capabilities, immersive visuals, and viewer analytics with Intel® Aim Suite technology to measure messaging effectiveness and ROI.
